California -> Oregon -> Washington
We saw a baby bear this morning! By far the most exciting wildlife we have seen, it ran right out in front of the car to cross into the woods. Redwood was a quick stop but a real treat. A permit-only hike through Tall Tree Grove gave some incredible up close views of the largest trees in the world, and a picnic on the Pacific really helped accentuate the diversity of the park. After a week long stint in California (the longest time spent in any state on the trip) we are officially moving on.
On our way through Oregon right now- we we’re going to stop at Crater Lake but we’ve managed to get a day behind on schedule so we’re going to have to bypass it and head straight for Mt Rainier. Washington here we come!
