Seven hours on Highway 1- San Francisco all the way up to Legget. The drive was windy and beautiful running along the Pacific, through the trees, in and out of very small towns, and shrouded in fog. We stopped midway in Gualala for an amazingly fresh lunch. Hwy 1 is by far the least commercialized stretch of America we have ever been through. Now on our way through Humboldt County trying to make it up to Redwood National Park…the trees are getting taller each passing mile.
