About the trip
Why wouldn’t we go on a roadtrip?
- Clair is a retired world traveler while Chris is a sheltered soul ready to explore the world … or at least the country where’s he’s lived all his life.
- Chris is attending graduate school at Wake Forest in the fall for documentary film, thus affording him a free summer to travel
- Clair likes to travel … so she’s tagging along :)
- Chris has agreed to go vegetarian for the 43-day trip. Clair agreed to that about 10 years ago.
- The above fact may change if Chris sees a roadside diner (like Mad Greek’s Diner on the drive between Vegas and Venice Beach).
